Turnkey Asset Management Platform (TAMP)
A third-party platform that provides investment management services — including model portfolios, trading, and reporting — to financial advisors.
A Turnkey Asset Management Platform (TAMP) allows financial advisors to outsource investment management functions — such as portfolio construction, rebalancing, trading, and compliance — to a specialized third-party provider. Advisors using a TAMP can focus on client relationships and financial planning while the TAMP handles the investment operations. Examples include Orion Portfolio Solutions, Envestnet, and SEI. For income-focused advisors using TAMPs, a key gap is dividend analytics: most TAMP reporting platforms show portfolio performance and allocation but do not score individual holdings for dividend sustainability or alert advisors to cut risk.
