Dividend Safety Score
A 0–10 rating that assesses the likelihood that a company will maintain or grow its dividend over the next 12 months.
A dividend safety score quantifies the risk that a company will cut or suspend its dividend. Infnits scores each holding from 0 (extreme cut risk) to 10 (very safe) based on multiple factors: payout ratio relative to earnings and free cash flow, earnings coverage trend, balance sheet leverage, dividend history length, and historical dividend behavior during the 2008 financial crisis and 2020 COVID market stress. A score below 4 signals elevated cut risk and triggers an alert in the advisor dashboard. Safety scores update as new earnings and fundamental data are published, so advisors always see the most current risk assessment for every client holding.
